Environmental certifications and labels
In 2024, more than 75% of Bordeaux vineyard acreage is covered by an environmental certification (up from just 35% in 2014). Our ambition? To bring 100% of the vineyard on board by 2030.
In Bordeaux — France’s leading AOC vineyard — change is well underway. Winegrowers, merchants and cooperative wineries have long been committed to sustainable development, united by a shared goal: to reduce their environmental footprint while safeguarding biodiversity, without compromising on wine quality.
In this journey, environmental standards, certifications and labels act as true passports. They provide official recognition of the concrete actions taken to care for nature and support a more responsible winegrowing model.
